Zombie Video Games: Case Zero Drops at Month’s End
by Voracious D on Aug.26, 2010, under Video Games
I know there’s been some radio silence here at HZA, but I’ve got something to start some static. In Larry Hryb’s weekly video post on the 360, the good Major finally did something useful by announcing the XLN release date of Dead Rising 2: Case Zero. On August 31, Xbox 360 users can get their hands on this prequel to Dead Rising 2, set two years after the original game and three before the sequel. The Xbox.com page lists the title to cost 400 MS points (about 5 real world dollars), which is a steal considering Scott Pilgrim vs. the World sets you back 800 and the woefully disappointing Castlevania HD sucks a whopping 1200 points from you. At that price, though, I’m not expecting something too substantial, probably just slightly more than a demo of the actual game would give. The upside is that progress made in this arcade game will have some compatibility with Dead Rising 2, so it might be worth checking out to get a head start on DR2.
